Well-Care Medical (Pty) LTD is a service provider that imports, assembles and distributes medical equipment. Our wheelchair product portfolio ranges from the most basic economy wheelchairs to high-end electrics. We also offer basic assistive devices and frail care items.

Export Restriction

Goods and services provided on this website (www.wellcaremedical.co.za) are limited to only South Africa customers.

Responsibility

Well-Care Medical takes responsibility for all aspects relating to the transaction including sale of goods and services sold on this website, customer service and support, dispute resolution and delivery of goods.

Country of domicile

This website is governed by the laws of South Africa and Well-Care Medical, Well-Care Medical chooses as its domicilium citandi et executandi for all purposes under this agreement, whether in respect of court process, notice, or other documents or communication of whatsoever nature.

Online delivery policy 

All orders are subject to product availability. An estimated delivery time will be provided these times are used as a guide only and are subject to the acceptance and approval of your order. Unless there are exceptional circumstances, we make every effort to fulfil your order within 4-5 business days of the date of your order. Business days mean Monday to Friday, except holidays.

Shipping cost are based on the weight of your order and delivery area.

Return and Refund policy

We strive to ensure that the products we deliver to you are of high quality and without defects, in the unlikely event that you are not fully satisfied with the product(s) it can be returned, Please note that you may do so by informing us within 7 working days on receipt of your delivery. To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it in, all goods to bear original packaging with a copy of the Invoice and Packing List to be presented a 5% handling fee and the courier fee charged to deliver and collect (if a request of collection was made) the product will be deducted from the refund. In the event where an incorrect product was delivered (or missing any accessories), please notify us immediately and we will collect the product from you at no charge. Upon return the product will be inspected and validated. We will deliver the correct product to you as soon as possible (pending availability); or credit your account with the purchase price of the product.

Well-Care Medical Products (Pty) Ltd warrants to the original purchaser for those periods set forth below that all new products shall be free from failure caused by defects in material and workmanship when used under average/standard conditions.

All walking aid and assistive devices have a Warranty period of six (6) months and all wheelchairs have a Twelve (12) months Warranty on the frame given standard normal usage, All removable components have a six (6) months Warranty under standard normal usage and Electric batteries have a Warranty of six (6) months from date of purchase by original purchaser (Well-Care Medical Products Customer). The obligation of the Company under this Warranty consists only of repairing or replacing (at the Company’s discretion), any part, which is proved to be defective in material or factory workmanship. The Company reserves the right to require the return of defective material to verify the claim.

All Warranties are applicable only if purchase dates are proven with the serial number linking invoices to delivered goods and a Copy of the Packing List and Invoice to be presented to the Company at the time of claiming the Warranty. Labour costs and material expenses for all repairs are covered by the Warranty as well as transportation costs associated with the replacement of defective parts and components.

If for any reason the item has been self-repair or replaced with parts from another supplier, the warranty on the product will no longer exist. This warranty will be void if the product has been subjected to negligence, abuse, misuse, accidental damage, improper operation, improper maintenance, improper storage, or damaged parts resulting from an accident as well as if the product had any unauthorized modifications or alterations of Warranty.

Customer Privacy Policy

All personal information collected is confidential. Well-Care Medical will take all reasonable steps to protect the personal information of users. For the purpose of this clause, “personal information” shall be defined as detailed in the Promotion of Access to Information Act 2 of 2000 (PAIA). Payment Options Accepted

All prices are in South African Rand (ZAR) and are subject to change without notification. All online purchases can be done via the PayFast gateway.

Card acquiring and security

Card transactions will be acquired for Well-Care Medical via PayFast (Pty) Ltd who are the approved payment gateway for all South African Acquiring Banks. PayFast uses a 3D secure and encryption website, no Card details or customer information is stored on the website. Variation

Well-Care Medical (Pty) LTD, in its sole discretion, change this agreement or any part thereof at any time without notice
